Tangerines and elaborate clues

Easter eggs and treasure hunts

Amusement Parks and all sorts of fun

All thanks to you.

Paper on desk, pen in hand

Guiding me into story land.

Diaries, pages, scrolls of ink.

Books on books with lots to think.

All thanks to you.

The Notre-dame and the Eiffel Tower

The Cloudgate Bean, and hail showers.

Shuttles, bats, and basketball.

First pedal, first fall

All thanks to you.

So many things I have got,

Books, from letters, from a dot.

And most of them come out of the blue,

And Appa, it’s all thanks to you.

And with all that, on this monsoon day,

Clouds may part and give the sun a way.

And I am really proud to say,
